Day 4 and Day 5
Posted under Raw Fitness Challenge by ScottPast two days have kinda been a blur — staying up all night will do that to you! I am hoping that tomorrow I will be back on my normal schedule.
Thursday, I didn’t really eat much at all. Some nutmilk, dried fruit, and that was about it. Just wasn’t hungry! Today, however, I had a bit more:
On the menu:
- 1 QT chocolate nut-milk
- Handful of gojis
- Handful of raisins
- 1 Lara Bar - chocolate mint, yum
- 10 rawviolis — zucchini that I sliced into thin pasta rounds and stuffed two of them with some pesto nut cheese (based on this recipe by Teri)
- 4 lettuce wraps — green leaf lettuce stufed with guacamole, more zucchini, mango salsa (diced mango, diced red onion, salt, cumin)
At the gym:
- Didn’t make it to the gym either day but that’s OK as I can tell my body just needs the rest. Still have some sore muscles from swimming too!
Tomorrow is the raw pot-luck! Not sure what to bring, but I am excited to chow-down!
